Nobita is hopeless at pitching a ball so Doraemon gives him a hat which makes sure he cannot miss any target, but it turns out that lazy Nobita is not really interested in baseball. He throws a book and it goes back on the shelf where it should be. He is too lazy to walk to Shizuka's house so throws himself to see her, not knowing she is a long way away.
