Obviously, KUE disallows the contact between BILL and MUI and forbids them to develop further relationship. Although LO proposes marriage for MUI at the house of SHEK sincerely, KUES declines the marriage right away. Later, the rice warehouse is on fire suddenly, BILL risks his life and runs into the warehouse to save the casualties. However, others believe BILL is committing suicide because of the love wreck. KUE fails to recognize her own mistake but strongly believes in bad luck. She visits a physician recommended by YIM and has a surgery to get rid of a spot on the face. Unfortunately, the surgery fails and leaves a scar on her face instead.
