The Labour leader delivered a speech which included a detailed account of his upbringing as well as plans for national security. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak showed off his football skills, while he continued his campaign by returning to his plan to bring back national service for teenagers. The Liberal Democrats were on the road with Ed Davey making his way north to Scotland, with the SNP’s John Swinney campaigning in Dumfries.
