CHUN is too busy for the daily chores. CHING helps him out, as if she was the mistress of the house. LITTLE BUDDHA has come to see CHING. He can see that she still loves CHUN, to which she admits honestly. HIN’s father, PONG PAK CHUEN, who is an imperial guard, pays SUNG a visit with HIN. SUNG appreciates HIN. He invites HIN to work at the imperial pharmaceutical factory. HIN turns him down tactfully. CHUN suggests SUN to include pseudoginseng in the imperial medicine list. SUN refuses, claiming that there are no written records of pseudoginseng. CHUEN is hurt……
