Frozen speelt zich af in een vervloekt koninkrijk dat omhult is door een strenge en eeuwige winter. Om een einde te maken aan de ijskoude betovering besluit Anna, een dromerige en onbevreesde optimist, samen te werken met Kristoff, een stoere bergbewoner. Samen maken zij een spannende reis om Anna’s zus, de ijskoude sneeuwkoningin Elsa, te vinden en om zo de ijzige vloek over het koninkrijk te kunnen opheffen. Tijdens hun avontuur krijgen ze gezelschap van een komische sneeuwpop genaamd Olaf en samen moeten ze ijskoude temperaturen zien te overleven en vreemde wezens, trollen en andere magie trotseren.

De slechte heerser van Duloc (de kleine Lord Farquaad) heeft alle sprookjesfiguren uit zijn land verbannen. De figuren, inclusief een praatgrage ezel, vluchten naar het moerasland van de oger Shrek, die erg op z'n privacy gesteld is.

Na teruggekeerd te zijn van hun huwelijksreis horen Shrek en Fiona dat haar ouders van het huwelijk gehoord hebben. Ze willen niets liever dan haar ware liefde te ontmoeten in hun koninkrijk Far Far Away. Ze zijn zich echter niet bewust van de veranderingen die hun dochter onlangs ondergaan heeft. En dat hun nieuwe schoonzoon een 350 kilo zware Ogre met een slechte hygiëne is en een pratende ezel als vriend heeft.

Prinses Rapunzel is haar naam. Als baby is ze gestolen uit het paleis van haar ouders en opgesloten in een verborgen hoge toren, waar ze onmogelijk uit kan ontsnappen. Ze snakt naar avontuur in haar leven en droomt ervan de toren te verlaten en een normaal tienermeisje te zijn. Dat avontuur kan eindelijk beginnen als de knapste, maar ook beruchtste crimineel van het koninkrijk, ridder Flynn, langs haar toren komt en via haar lange haar de toren kan klimmen. Ze maken samen de afspraak om uit de toren te ontsnappen en op avontuur te gaan. Onderweg ontmoeten ze vele hilarische figuren.

Na de gebeurtenissen uit 'Frozen' heeft er enige tijd vrede geheerst in het koninkrijk Arendelle. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff en Olaf moeten vervolgens een nieuw avontuur aangaan, waarvoor ze diep de bossen intrekken. Reden van hun vertrek is om een eeuwenoud mysterie over hun koninkrijk te ontdekken.

Het huwelijk van een jonge vrouw met een charmante prins verandert in een hevige overlevingsstrijd wanneer ze wordt geofferd aan een vuurspuwende draak.

Een Chinees meisje krijgt te horen dat haar verzwakte vader het leger in moet om een oorlog te vechten. Maar vanaf het moment dat de Toverspiegel antwoordt dat niet zij maar Sneeuwwitje de mooiste van het land is, weet de duivelse Koningin wat haar te doen staat. Het jonge meisje moet doodgemaakt worden, zodat zij, de Koningin, daarna weer de mooiste van het land zal zijn. Wanneer het Sneeuwwitje lukt om aan dit duivelse plan te ontsnappen, komt ze diep in het woud bij een klein huisje aan, waar zij in een van de meest beroemde scènes uit de filmgeschiedenis, de Zeven Dwergen ontmoet.

Het visje Ponyo leeft samen met honderden broertjes en zusje in een afgesloten onderwaterwereld. Haar vader heeft deze wereld, die lijkt op één groot laboratorium, zelf gemaakt.
