Adapted from a popular online novel originally published between 2007 and 2008, the animation tells the tale of Zheng Shaopeng, a university student who finds himself transported back in time to ancient China after a book falls on his head. This is a story about an animator who rises to fame for his anime "B.King". But many years later, he's at his wit's end, and has to attract attention by abandoning his anime characters. One day, a mysterious incoming call absorbs the animator into the World of B.King, where he becomes an anime character called Wang Xiaoming. Therefore, with the knowledge of the "Creator", Wang Xiaoming embarks on a fantastic journey together with his other anime characters. This is a shortcut to become immortal.
