Tomoko mène un groupe de filles qui s'ennuient et qui sont bloquées dans une classe estivale de rattrapage de maths. Le groupe décide de sécher les cours de leur ennuyeux professeur pour livrer des déjeuners à la fanfare de l'école. Mais la paresse extrême des filles fait que les repas sont avariés, et bientôt la fanfare entière tombe malade. Le membre restant, Takuo, décide de recruter toutes ces filles, qui ne savent pas jouer d'un instrument, pour monter une formation de jazz et participer à un concours de musique local.

Nozomi est une jeune femme extravertie et très populaire, doublée d’une talentueuse flutiste. Mizore, plus discrète et timide, joue du hautbois. Mizore, se sent très proche et dépendante de Nozomi, qu’elle affectionne et admire. Elle craint que la fin de leur dernière année de lycée soit aussi la fin de leur histoire compliquée, entre rivalité musicale et désir platonique. Les 2 amies se préparent à jouer en duo pour la compétition musicale du lycée Kita Uji. Quand leur orchestre commence à travailler sur les musiques de Liz und ein Blauer Vogel (Liz et l’Oiseau Bleu), NOZOMI et MIZORE croient voir dans cette oeuvre bucolique le reflet de leur histoire d’adolescentes. La réalité rejoindra-t-elle le conte ?

Kumiko est maintenant en deuxième année et fait partie des joueurs seniors de la section euphonium. Avec l'arrivée de nouveaux élèves de première année dans l'orchestre, Kumiko devra apprendre de nouvelles choses afin de faire face à des élèves de première année difficiles et gênants. Elle et le trompettiste de troisième année Tomoe Kabe ont été choisis pour diriger les nouveaux membres de la section. Parmi les nouveaux membres de la section de basse de Kumiko figurent l'euphoniste Kanade Hisaishi, dont les apparences sont trompeuses, la joueuse de tuba Mirei Suzuki, qui ne peut pas s'adapter à son nouvel environnement, le tubiste Satsuki Suzuki, qui veut s'entendre avec Mirei, et le contrebassiste Motomu Tsukinaga, qui ne peut pas parler de lui-même. Entre le festival Sunrise, les auditions de placement de chaises et le concours, un certain nombre de problèmes commencent rapidement à se poser.

La vie paisible de l’intrépide Chihaya prend un tout autre tournant le jour où Arata, un élève fraîchement transféré dans son école lui fait découvrir le Karuta (jeu de cartes traditionnel japonais aux influences littéraires). Mais plus qu’un amour pour le jeu, c’est le fait qu’elle puisse partager ce loisir avec Arata et son ami de toujours, Taichi, qui rend la fillette aussi heureuse. Cependant, le départ de Arata à la fin de l’école primaire créé une blessure auprès des trois amis. Les années passent et Chihaya est aujourd’hui au lycée. Elle retrouve Taichi qu’elle avait perdu de vue au collège. Malheureusement, le temps passe et les gens changent. Taichi n’éprouve plus d’intérêt pour le Karuta mais reste attaché à Chihaya. Alors que Arata n’a plus donné de nouvelles depuis des années, Chihaya prend conscience qu’elle est seule mais compte devenir la numéro un au Karuta pour atteindre le titre de Queen of Karuta…

Dans un univers mêlant "moe" et "horreur" nous suivons le quotidien tragique de quatre élèves nommées Yuki, Yuuri, Miki et Kurumi dans une école. Du jour au lendemain, une épidémie de zombie est déclarée dans l'école de ces quatre filles. Alors que cette épidémie a presque décimée toute leur école, les quatre filles, une poignée d'élèves et leurs professeurs vont tenter de survivre dans cet enfer. A cause de cet événement le quotidien paisible de ses filles dans leur Club de Vie va radicalement changer.

Min et Therese expliquent à tous qu'elles ne sont que de très bonnes amies. Ike, lui ne sait pas trop qui il est et ce qu'il veut être. Ensemble, ils vont former un « Club de Géographie », parce que la géographie c'est tellement ennuyeux, afin de pouvoir parler ensemble et de cacher à tous leurs vérités. Une comédie qui explore les espoirs, les rêves et les valeurs de l'adolescence.

Qualifiée pour le championnat national de karuta, l’équipe du lycée Mizusawa emmenée par Chihaya et Taichi est cependant en proie à de nombreux doutes. Taichi essaie de monter en grade secrètement tandis que Chihaya s’est trouvée une rivale personnelle en la personne de Wakamiya Shinobu et passe donc son temps à s’entraîner seule contre des gauchers, négligeant la compétition par équipe. Devant le drame vécu par leur ancien ami Arata, Chihaya et Taichi vont cependant reprendre conscience de l’importance de l’esprit de groupe dans leur discipline.

Through exchanges with her 17-year-old grandmother and her club members, the story follows Hitomi's growth as a person.

Oreki Houtarou is a minimalistic high school boy. One day, he joins the Classic Literature Club at his elder sister's request. There he meets Chitanda Eru, Fukube Satoshi, and Ibara Mayaka. Chitanda is a calm beautiful girl but she turns into an embodiment of curiosity once she says, "I'm curious." Fukube is a smiling boy with a fantastic memory who calls himself a database. Ibara is a short girl and is strict with others and herself. They begin to investigate a case that occurred 45 years ago. Hints of the mystery are buried in an old collection of works of the former members of Classics Club. The collection is titled "Hyouka."

Kakeru, a former elite runner at high school, is chased for stealing food. He is saved by Kansei University student Haiji, who is also a runner. Haiji persuades Kakeru to live in the old apartment "Chikuseisou" where he plans to team up with fellow residents to enter Hakone Ekiden Marathon, one of the most prominent university races in Japan. Kakeru soon finds out that all of the residents except for Haiji and himself are complete novices.

Kodaka Hasegawa has just transferred to St. Chronica's Academy and he's having a hard time making friends. With his naturally blond hair and fierce looking eyes, people constantly mistake him for a delinquent. One day, he runs into his bad-tempered loner of a classmate, Yozora, while she's talking to her imaginary friend, Tomo. Since neither of them have any friends, they decide to form a club and start recruiting some. Little by little, lonely classmates join their club to learn how to build friendships through cooking together, playing games, and other group activities. But, with so many misfits, will the club members really be able to get along?

You Sato is a new high school student living in the dorms. She educates him on the rules of the game where Wolves eat well while Dogs settle for cup ramen. With fellow first year student Hana Oshiroi, a fetishistic germaphobe, You Sato sets out to discover if he too has what it takes to be a Wolf and taste the sweet victory of half priced boxed banquets or wallow in the bitter defeat of reconstituted noodles and salty broth in a styrofoam bowl.

Hina Tsurugi and her family have just moved to a quaint seaside town. The Sakuragoaka Girls' Academy curriculum traditionally focuses on the three "R"s of reading, writing and arithmetic, but Ritsu Tainaka wants to add two more "R"s: Rock and Roll! Chiyo discovers that Nozaki is actually a renowned shōjo manga artist named Sakiko Yumeno. She then agrees to be his assistant in order to get closer to him. As they work on his manga Let's Fall in Love (恋しよっ), they encounter other schoolmates who assist them or serve as inspirations for characters in the stories.

In rugby, there is no ace striker, there is no number four batter, so who is the star of the team? The story begins at school entrance ceremony of Kanagawa High School where Kenji Gion, a small but gutsy go-getter joins the rugby club. He joins with his classmate, Iwashimizu, who has a complicated past and sub-captain Hachiouji, who always takes good care of his Club members. Lastly, there is Captain Sekizan, who has overwhelming powers but keeps his cards close to his chest. With such differences in both personality and physical performance, the team must learn to work and grow together so they can become the best.

Saku Oyagi returns to his old hometown in order to start school at Soei High School. On the first day, he runs into an old childhood friend: a second year named Mihoshi Akeno. As children, the two used to play together, with Mihoshi, or Mii-chan, being extremely fond of astronomy.
