Narnian tarinat: Velho ja leijona on 8. joulukuuta 2005 ensi-iltansa saanut yhdysvaltalainen fantasiaelokuva, joka pohjautuu irlantilaisen kirjailijan C. S. Lewisin vuonna 1950 julkaistuun kirjaan Velho ja leijona. Elokuvan ohjasi Andrew Adamson, ja sen pääosissa esiintyvät William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley, Tilda Swinton ja Liam Neeson. Elokuvan tuottajiin kuulunut Douglas Gresham on sukua C. S. Lewisille. Siitä on tehty kaksi jatko-osaa nimillä Prinssi Kaspian ja Kaspianin matka maailman ääriinSuomalainen kanteleensoittaja Timo Väänänen on soittanut elokuvaan musiikkia vierailevana muusikkona. Kantele soi muun muassa silloin kun Lucy tapaa Tumnuksen.

Pevensien perheen lapset Peter, Susan, Edmund ja Lucy palaavat jälleen Narniaan, mutta siellä ei kaikki olekaan niin ruusuista kuin lasten muistoissa. Puhuvat eläimet, kentaurit, kääpiöt ja Narnian muut vanhat asukkaat joutuvat elämään piilossa, koska maan valloittaneet telmarilaiset eivät heitä siedä. Puutkin ovat vetäytyneet kuoriinsa eivätkä enää tanssi entiseen tapaansa. Lapset kutsutaan Narniaan auttamaan Prinssi Kaspiania syöksemään setänsä vallasta voidakseen hallita Narniaa lempeämmin ottein. Tehtävässä auttavat metsien piiloista esiin tulevat vanhat narnialaiset, jotka haluavat vapautensa takaisin.

Huikeassa koko perheen fantasiaseikkailussa palataan takaisin tarunhohtoiseen ja upeaan C.S. Lewisin luomaan Narnia-maailmaan – tällä kertaa meriaiheisen taulun kautta. Edmund (Skandar Keynes) ja Lucy Pevensie (Georgie Henley) ovat viettämässä kesälomaansa, kun he löytävät serkkunsa Eustancen (Will Poulter) kanssa taulun, joka toimii porttina Narnia-maailmaan ja Sarastus-laivalle (The Dawn Treader). Jälleen uusi valloittava seikkailu odottaa heitä ja heidän kuninkaallista ystäväänsä prinssi Kaspiania (Ben Barnes).
