Μετά από τρεις ριψοκίνδυνες περιπέτειες στις οποίες κατατρόπωσε πανίσχυρους κακούς χάρη στο απαράμιλλο θάρρος του και τις απίστευτες δεξιότητες του στις πολεμικές τέχνες, ο Πο, γνωστός ως Δράκος Πολεμιστής, καλείται από τη μοίρα να χαλαρώσει λιγάκι. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, έχει έρθει η ώρα να αναλάβει τον ρόλο του πνευματικού ηγέτη στην Κοιλάδα της Ειρήνης.
Πριν πολλά πολλά χρόνια, στο φανταστικό βασίλειο της Κουμάνδρα, δράκοι και άνθρωποι ζούσαν αρμονικά. Με την απειλή των μοχθηρών δαιμόνων Drunn, οι δράκοι θυσιάστηκαν για να σώσουν την ανθρωπότητα. Πεντακόσια χρόνια μετά, οι δαίμονες επανεμφανίστηκαν και η Ράια, μια νέα και γενναία πολεμίστρια, είναι αποφασισμένη να βρει τον τελευταίο δράκο που θα τους σώσει μια και καλή. Στο ταξίδι της αυτό, θα συνειδητοποιήσει ότι πέρα από τη μαγεία των δράκων, χρειάζεται και πίστη για να σωθεί η ανθρωπότητα.
Ο Πο είναι ένα φιλήσυχο, στρουμπουλό, γλυκό, λίγο αδέξιο και σίγουρα πολύ τεμπέλικο Πάντα που έχει μονάχα ένα όνειρο: να γίνει δεξιοτέχνης στο Κουνγκ Φου. Μετά από μια σειρά ξεκαρδιστικών συμπτώσεων, ο Πο βλέπει το όνειρό του να γίνεται πραγματικότητα και μυείται στον κόσμο του Κουνγκ Φου από τον γκουρού του είδους Σίφου, στο πλευρό των Υπέροχων Πέντε. Μάλιστα, ο Πο φαίνεται να είναι ο «Εκλεκτός» που θα πρέπει να αναμετρηθεί με το Απόλυτο Κακό, που δεν είναι άλλο από τη λευκή λεοπάρδαλη Τάι Λανγκ.
Ο Πο απολαμβάνει τη ζωή του ως Μαχητής του Δράκου και προστάτης της Κοιλάδας της Ειρήνης. Σύντομα, όμως, ένας νέος δόλιος εχθρός κάνει την εμφάνισή του, με σκοπό να κατακτήσει ολόκληρη την Κίνα...
Ενώ ο Πο κι ο πατέρας του επισκέπτονται ένα μυστικό χωριό πάντα, ένα κακό πνεύμα απειλεί όλη την Κίνα, αναγκάζοντας τον Πο να συγκροτήσει έναν στρατό για να αντεπιτεθούν.

Αποστολή του Νίο είναι, να σώσει σε 72 μόλις ώρες την Ζάιον, την τελευταία ελεύθερη πόλη, από ένα στρατό 250.000 φονικών μηχανών που απειλεί να την καταστρέψει. Σε αντίθετη περίπτωση το ανθρώπινο γένος θα εξαφανιστεί από προσώπου Γης. Οι κάτοικοί της ωστόσο, ενθαρρυμένοι από την πεποίθηση του Μορφέα ότι η προφητεία θα εκπληρωθεί και ο πόλεμος με τις μηχανές θα λάβει τέλος, χάρη στον «εκλεκτό» που είναι ο Νίο, εναποθέτουν όλες τις ελπίδες τους σ΄ αυτόν. Ο Νίο όμως, βασανίζεται από τρομακτικούς εφιάλτες που αφορούν τη ζωή της αγαπημένης του Τρίνιτυ.
Έπειτα από μακελειό στην εκκλησία, τη μέρα του γάμου της, μια γυναίκα πέφτει σε κώμα. Ξυπνά έπειτα από πολλά χρόνια και αρχίζει να αναζητά τον Μπιλ, εκείνον που διέταξε τη σφαγή. Στο δρόμο της στέκονται εμπόδιο μπράβοι και πληρωμένοι δολοφόνοι.
Η οργισμένη νύφη, τυφλωμένη από μίσος και διψασμένη για εκδίκηση συνεχίζει ακάθεκτη την εξόντωση των υπόλοιπων μελών της συμμορίας δολοφόνων "Φονικά Ερπετά". Αυτή τη φορά, εφαρμόζοντας στο έπακρο όλες τις πολεμικές της δεξιότητες ξεκινάει για τον ύστατο σκοπό της, την εξόντωση του αρχηγού της συμμορίας και πρώην "αφεντικού" της Μπιλ. Στο δρόμο της, θα αντιμετωπίσει τον αδελφό του Μπιλ, Μπαντ και την μονόφθαλμη Ελ. Στο τελευταίο σημείο του προορισμού της, η νύφη βρίσκεται πλέον αντιμέτωπη με τον Μπιλ σε μια σκληρή μονομαχία εικαστικής τελειότητας αλλά και ανάμεικτων συναισθημάτων που κόβει την ανάσα...
Ο Νίο έχει παγιδευτεί στον «Σιδηροδρομικό Σταθμό», μια διάσταση κάπου ανάμεσα στο Μάτριξ και τον πραγματικό κόσμο. Ο Μορφέας, η Τρίνιτι και ο Σέραφ οργανώνουν την επιχείρηση διάσωσής του ζητώντας τη βοήθεια του Μεροβίγγιου. Εντωμεταξύ οι στρατιές των Μηχανών κατευθύνονται προς την Ζάιον, το τελευταίο οχυρό της ανθρώπινης αντίστασης ενάντια στην κυριαρχία τους. Όμως δεν έχουν ακόμη αντιληφθεί πως κάποιος έχει αποκτήσει τον έλεγχο του Μάτριξ με σκοπό να καταστρέψει τα πάντα: ο κύριος Σμιθ!
