Det er sommerferie og Kathryn er blevet vraget af kæresten til fordel for den uskyldige Cecilie. Vild af hævntørst, udfordrer hun Sebastian til at ødelægge Cecilie ved at gøre hende til en billig tøs. Men Sebastian har fået øje på et langt bedre bytte. Dae-Su, en helt almindelig midaldrende mand, bliver kidnappet og låst inde i en celle uden en forklaring. Hans begær efter hævn mod kidnapperen, som har ødelagt hans liv vokser sig stærkere hver dag. Mens FBI Agent Desmond jager en morder af unge piger, under et truende øje fra sheriffen og overnaturlig ondskab, er den lokale skønhed Laura Palmer ved at blive rodet ind i en situation som hun ikke kan komme ud fra.

Efter en druktur i 1993 vågner den anløbne reklamemand Joe Doucett op i et hotelværelse uden vinduer eller dørhåndtag. I tyve lange år holdes han fanget i cellen af de anonyme gerningsmænd. Joe ved kun, at han er mistænkt for at have myrdet sin kone. Da Joe endelig bliver sat fri i 2013, søger han dels en forklaring og dels sin egen, nu voksne datter. Filmen foregår i 1800-tallet, og handler om Edith Cushing, der som barn fik advarslen ”vogt dig for Crimson Peak” af sin mors spøgelse. Som ung kvinde er Edith blevet en aspirerende forfatterinde, der omsætter kontakten med det hinsides til fiktionens verden. Hun lever en tryg og privilegeret tilværelse sammen med sin velhavende far, men tingene ændrer sig, da Edith lader sig forføre af den britiske forretningsmand, Thomas Sharpe. Edith gifter sig med Thomas og flytter til en afsides by i England for at bo i han og søsterens imponerende, men faldefærdige palæ. Snart bliver den unge pige klar over, at intet er som hun forventede - slet ikke hendes nye ægtemand.

Filmen består af tre forskellige historier, der udspiller sig i henholdsvis New York, Paris og Rom, og som omhandler tre forskellige mænd og deres komplekse kærlighedsforhold, indviklede liv og indbyrdes relationer til hinanden.

Den deprimerede Danny havner uforvarende i denne modbydelige fortælling, da han arver et feriecenter og opdager, at alt ikke er helt i orden på stedet. En gruppe kannibalistiske, indavlede bonderøve (er der andre slags?) holder til her, og de vil rigtig gerne have Danny med i gruppen!

I midten af 90'erne samles 20 dansere i en trænings-camp på en nedlagt kostskole midt ude i skoven. Efter endt træning mødes de omkring en stor bowle sangria. Snart tager stemning en uventet drejning og efterhånden, som natten skrider frem, tager vanviddet til. Det går hurtigt op for dem, at de er blevet ”drugged”. Mens nogen er i paradis, udvikler natten sig til et helvede for de fleste andre.
